Flirty Blog Hop Entry

Hi, my name is Traci Williams and welcome to my Flirty Blog Hop entry!  Did you see Melissa Lind's blog  hop featuring an adorable I Love You card she crafted?  If so, you are in the right place. If you have jumped here and just discovered our blog hop, feel free to visit Damask Divas blog by clicking Here to find the complete list of the Damask Divas Flirty Blog Hop entries and make sure to enter in the Hop drawing while at Damask Divas Flirty Blog Hop.

I wanted to make something special for a friend who truly has done some wonderful things for people we know.  She loves candles and thought what a perfect way to show her my appreciation for all she does.  So in light of this being a Thank You card using the Flirty Paper Pack, I decided to add personal touches by using some of her favorite colors this time of the year!

Using the Artiste  Cricut Cartridge, I made this box cutout.  To create the window look, I cut out plastic square pieces from packaging items.  I then glued them to the inside of the box and allowed them to dry completely.  I then used the Green Glitz Glitter Gel and added them around the outside areas  of the box where the plastic was.  I did one side until completely dry.

For the card, I used the outlined flower paper from the Flirty Pack, 2 Exclusive Ink Pads, Goldrush and New England Ivy and a Blending Pen.  I used the Thank You stamp from For Every Occasion set.  Embelished with ribbon and a single pearl.

For the candle, I cut a lattice trim to a 5" strip from a sheet of Goldrush cardstock and cut out flower shapes from the colored flower paper from the Flirty Paper Pack then added 2 large Pearls and embelished the lattice with Bitty pearls.

Here is the next Damask Divas Blog Hop project that is hand crafted by Bridgette Berry click on her name to see her beautiful work.
