Damask Divas Pear & Partridge Blog Hop

Well, it is official, Christmas is near!

My name is Traci Williams and I am an Independent Consultant with Close To My Heart.  If you came from Sandra Rosario's 365 Days of Cricut, you are in the right place. If you have jumped here and just discovered our blog hop, feel free to check the list at Damask Divas blog to find the complete list of blog hop participants.  Be sure to sign up for the free giveaway while at the Damask Divas blog page!

I used B&T Paper's from the Pear & Partridge Workshop on the Go to create a Warmest Wish card and a table centerpiece.

I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Collection to make cutouts for Warmest Wishes card and Artiste Cricut Collections to make cutouts for tree on centerpiece.

Here is the recipe for the tree:
I used 2 B&T papers from Pear & Partridge for bottom and top cones.  Then for cardstock colors I used Cranberry, Desert Sand and Colonial White colors.
Page 42 from the Artiste Collection book, you will see 3D Object.  You will use the scalloped edge cone to make this tree and here are the Height sizes:
Base: 7" with cutouts on scalloped edges.
2nd from bottom: 5.5" hide cutouts
3rd from bottom: 5" with cutouts
3rd from top: 4.5" hide cutouts
2nd from top: 3.25 with cutouts
Top: 2.5" hide cutouts.

Assemble as directed with bonding glue, do not stack yet.  To give look of garland, lights or ornaments on cones, you will want to use any color of Glitz Glitter Gel.  Go crazy or simple, either way it will be quite engaging!  You can go as high as you want with the gel.  Let dry over night before stacking.  To stack, start with bottom cone and working up, use puddy, roll into 3D dime size circles and attach to top point of bottom cone then position next cone over.  Repeat until you get all stacked.  You can also position the cones to give "topsy" look to tree.  Place on charger plate, add candles (flameless) and sprinkle plate with gem pieces and rhinestone buttons from Bling Assortment to add glowing appeal when lit up!

The next blog on the list is Stephanie Davis's The Gypsy Chic Blog. Hope you have a great time on our hop and checking out all the creations using B&T Papers Pear & Partridge. If you get lost, just hop on over to Damask Divas Blog for the full list.

Merry Christmas!!
